Salted Smoked Almonds
Roasted and seasoned
Whole, unpeeled almonds from family farmers from the high-altitude plateaus of northern Pakistan, smoked, roasted and salted in Switzerland. The family farmers keep a share of the almond harvest for their winter reserves.
Nuts and seeds stay fresh longer when they are stored in a cool, dark place and, most importantly, protected from moisture. At storage temperatures below 16°C, pests such as moths don’t stand a chance. Store nuts in the refrigerator or in a cellar, for example. Use an airtight container to protect them from moisture.
