Delivery in March

These sweet and very juicy Navelina oranges come from around 40 family farmers in the Argolis region. When sorting them, the farmers don’t follow meaningless standards such as colour, shape and size. Each delivery can therefore contain fruit that vary in size and appearance. The skin of the oranges can sometimes be green. The colour only changes when it gets colder than 12 °C at night.

After delivery, check your oranges for bruises and blemishes. Consume these fruits first. If you discover mould, remove the affected fruit to prevent the mould from spreading. Oranges can be kept for about 4 weeks in a cool place at 4 to 6°C. If you store the fruits on the balcony or terrace, protect thefrom frost with a blanket or put them in a styrofoam box.

OLGA AGGELENAFARMER FROM GREECE
In my experience, small oranges taste sweeter and better than large ones.

Farmers in the Argolida region such as Olga Aggelena have faced a fundamental issue for many years: falling prices and no reliable buyers for organic products. In 2010, Giorgos Stergiou, his sister Lili and Raphael Sacher founded Anyfion with the goal of solving this very problem. We have invested in the company and are bringing their high-quality lemons, grapefruits, pomegranates, melons and kiwis from the Argolida region to the European market.
