The Libera Terra cooperative cultivates these chickpeas on land that once belonged to the Mafia, which was later seized by Italian authorities. The bulk of their produce comes from the Sicily, Calabria, Apulia and Campania regions. These small chickpeas are air-dried and carefully sorted.
Store the chickpeas in a sealed container to protect them from moisture and pests. When stored in a cool and dry place, these chickpeas will keep for at least two years.
