The sweet chestnuts come from a cooperative production in the Campania region of southern Italy. We deliver the varieties Napoletana Riccia and Tempestiva which are ideal for roasting on the fire or in the oven.

After delivery, you should spread out the chestnuts in a large box and store them somewhere cool. Avoid moisture to prevent mould. You can keep the chestnuts in the refrigerator for about a week or in the freezer for a year. Cut them before freezing and, when ready to use, put them directly in boiling water or in the oven without defrosting.
