House blend espresso
500 g ground coffee or 1 kg beans, 100 per cent arabica, dark roast
Dark roast arabica coffee for espresso. 70 per cent of the beans are sourced from family farmers in Mexico, 30 per cent from Peru. The beans are roasted weekly, so you always get fresh quality. Scent: aromatic, nutty. Aroma: bitter chocolate, hint of strawberry, low acidity. The ground espresso can be used in any coffee maker.
Store the coffee in an airtight container. A porcelain or ceramic container is ideal, but a plastic container will also work well. Store the container in a cool, dark and dry place. If possible, use up the beans within 2 to 6 weeks of receiving them. Only grind enough beans for the coffee you want to brew right away. Use up the ground coffee within 2 weeks of receiving it as the aroma will start to fade after that.
