Powder from the baobab tree fruit
The fruit of the baobab tree, which is found from the Sahel region to South Africa, contains a lot of vitamin C and calcium. It is also rich in antioxidants, iron and fibre. Immediately after the shell is opened, the pulp can be grinded into a whitish powder without drying. The taste is reminiscent of grapefruit, pear and vanilla.
