The farmers deliver their beans in labelled sacks to gebana Brasil's warehouse in the centre of Capanema. Of primary importance on receipt of the goods are GMO control, strict grading and expert drying of the beans. At this time of the year the production lines are working non-stop, all the way through from delivery, drying and cleaning to packaging. In the offices all the data is collected, delivery receipts are filled in and the farmers receive their cheques.

gebana Brasil has modern production facilities and silos with which quality standards required by the market can be achieved. Soya of fodder quality is further processed on-site and made into soya cakes, oil and soya lecithin. In addition to soya beans, gebana Brasil processes and trades primarily maize, wheat, sesame, black beans, adzuki beans, dried bananas and pineapple.

The products are exported in 20 foot containers which are filled and sealed in Capanema. The beans are transported directly to Europe in their sealed containers to prevent any possible mixing with other products.
